Lumens unveils the first long-range PTZ camera with automatic tracking at ISE 2024

Lumens® Digital Optics Inc, a brand available in imaginArt, will present the VC-TR70 triple lens PTZ camera at ISE 2024 in Barcelona, the first PTZ camera to support flexible automatic tracking of subjects at any distance between 2 and 30 metres. These features make the model ideal for use in all types of venues, especially in large venues where the camera is installed at a distance from the podium or presentation area. This overcomes a limitation of most tracking systems, which lose accuracy and reliability at distances greater than 8m.

The Lumens camera, however, is perfect for medium-sized meeting areas and large spaces, including conference centres and auditoriums. The 25x optical zoom, pan/tilt mechanism and numerous mounting options offer users maximum flexibility in camera installation.

Two additional HD face-tracking cameras are mounted on the base of the VC-TR70, allowing the AI processor to scan and analyse the scene, identify people and track the chosen subject. Switching between tracking targets is simple, either via the supplied remote control or by clicking on the web interface.

The VC-TR70 joins a wide range of HD and 4K self-tracking cameras from Lumens. The range now consists of five HD and UltraHD models, with advanced features such as NDI and Dante AV-H available on selected units.

The new VC-TR70 camera will debut at ISE 2024 on stand #5B500.
